Tree Felling in Piketberg, Safe, Affordable & Professional

We Know Piketberg

On the N7, at the Foot of the Piketberg Mountains

Piketberg sits in the foothills of the Piketberg Mountain range, right on the N7, the main route connecting Cape Town (about 90 minutes south) to Clanwilliam, the Cederberg, and beyond. Whether your property is in town near Church Street and Main Street, or out along the farm roads toward Porterville or Redelinghuys, our crews can reach you without delay.

Wheat Fields, Vineyards, and Rooibos on the Mountain Slopes

This is Bergrivier Municipality’s agricultural heartland: wheat fields that turn from green to golden through the seasons, vineyards, fruit orchards, and rooibos tea grown on the higher, frost-prone slopes of the Piketberg range. Farm boundary trees, windbreaks, and orchard-adjacent trees need a different approach to a suburban garden job; we plan around tractors, irrigation lines, and harvest schedules, not just driveways.

Sandstone Foothills and Real Winter Frost

The Piketberg range is Table Mountain Sandstone, and the higher slopes get genuine winter frost, cold enough that rooibos, a frost-resistant crop, is grown there specifically because other plants can’t handle it. That frost risk affects tree health too, and it’s something we factor into any assessment of storm damage, dieback, or a tree that’s suddenly started dropping limbs on a farm at altitude.
